Senior Field Service Technician

Responsibilities
Serve as the primary on-site representative to the ABB end customer/user and other ABB field personnel
Preserve ABB's Safety Culture on every aspect and as first priority, in the field and always keeping an eye on co-workers
Occasionally have additional team leader administrative responsibilities to coordinate internal field service activities
Assist customer with spare parts ordering, issues resolution, and provisioning
Perform collateral duties as assigned to meet business needs as they relate to EHS, Quality, Integrity, etc
Perform duties in Power Delivery, Medium & Low Voltage Switchgear/MCCs, Protective Relays, Transformers, Control Systems, etc
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED, with a minimum of 9 years of experience in a support or field engineering position. Additional formal education may substitute for required experience on a year‑for‑year basis
Experience with various electrical controls (power delivery) and systems to include: Mid-Voltage Switchgear, Low-Voltage Switchgear, Motor Control Center, Transformers Test & Maintenance, Automatic Transfer Switches, Wiring Diagrams: one-line electrical drawings, Blueprints & Schematics
Ability and willingness to travel 60-80% of the time across TX, LA, MO, OK, AR, KS, AL, MS, and TN, with occasional travel to other U.S. locations
Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
