Operations Superintendent
Cynet Systems is seeking an Operations Superintendent to provide leadership and direction to the operations team at their facility in Brownsville, TX. This role is responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable operations while maintaining compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities
Provide leadership and direction to the operations team to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable plant operations
Ensure completion of required training and assessments to maintain operational competency of shift teams
Take full accountability for operational activities including startup, shutdown, and continuous operations
Identify, assess, and resolve operational issues, abnormal conditions, and emergencies
Coordinate with construction, commissioning, maintenance, engineering, automation, and other teams to ensure seamless operations
Oversee monitoring and control of plant processes to ensure optimal performance and safe operating limits
Manage and prioritize workloads, staffing, and resource utilization
Ensure accurate completion of operational logs, shift reports, testing procedures, and documentation
Lead and participate in commissioning and startup activities, including system startups and walkdowns
Champion process safety, manage permit-to-work activities, and participate in safety initiatives and risk assessments
Provide mentorship, guidance, and training to operations personnel
Monitor plant performance, analyze operational data, and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Manage chemical inventories and coordinate procurement activities
Coordinate on-site vendor activities as required
Qualification
Required
Strong understanding of process safety management principles and practices
Ability to act as the primary on-site operational decision-maker during normal and abnormal conditions
Proven leadership, communication, and team management skills
Ability to make sound operational decisions under pressure and during emergency situations
Proficiency with process control systems and relevant operational software
Thorough knowledge of applicable industry codes, standards, and regulations
Progressive operations experience in the oil and gas, petrochemical, or Client industry with demonstrated leadership responsibilities
Prior experience in a supervisory or leadership role within an Client or similar processing facility
Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field
Preferred
Experience with commissioning and startup of Client or similar processing facilities
Formal training in incident command and emergency response
Knowledge of regulatory requirements relevant to Client operations
