Responsibilities

Learn the "heartbeat" of the facility by performing scheduled PM's, Repairs, and checks on state-of-the-art equipment
Assist in diagnosing breakdowns across electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and servo systems
Gain hands-on experience running conduit, pulling wire, fabrication, and installing new control systems
Apply classroom knowledge to troubleshoot and program PLCs in a live industrial environment
Participate in general building maintenance and "Jack-of-all-Trades" tasks that keep the facility running
Learn the critical hygiene and tool accountability standards required for food-grade paperboard packaging

Required

Must be currently enrolled in an Associate degree program for Electro-Mechanical Technology, Automation, or a related technical field
Familiarity with reading schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams
A disciplined approach to safety, especially when working with 480V equipment and at heights
Ability to stay active for the duration of the shift, including lifting and working in various outdoor weather conditions
A strong desire to ask questions, learn new tools, and solve puzzles
