Responsibilities
Develop and customize WordPress themes and plugins
Optimize website performance and scalability
Leads projects to migrate non-WordPress Sites to WordPress
Troubleshoot and resolve WordPress-related issues
Collaborate with designers and content teams for seamless UI/UX implementation
Stay updated with the latest WordPress trends and technologies
Evaluate and test software to ensure that the software works according to specifications and requirements
Actively participate in the Scrum call for effort estimation and prioritization
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or related field OR relevant work experience
6+ years experience
Strong proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and MS SQL
Experience with custom theme and plugin development
Develop and customize WordPress themes and plugins
Optimize website performance and scalability
Leads projects to migrate non-WordPress Sites to WordPress
Troubleshoot and resolve WordPress-related issues
Collaborate with designers and content teams for seamless UI/UX implementation
Stay updated with the latest WordPress trends and technologies
Evaluate and test software to ensure that the software works according to specifications and requirements
Actively participate in the Scrum call for effort estimation and prioritization
Preferred
Experience with REST APIs, Timber, Advanced Custom Fields Pro
Knowledge of SEO best practices and website performance optimization
Experience with Azure Dev Ops as well as Git, deployment processes, and security best practices
