Responsibilities

Work with staff and management team to develop strategic direction for remediation and implementation of environmental-related projects and/or litigation support
Negotiations with regulatory agencies and management of compliance with applicable orders, agency directives, and permits
Assigns tasks to engineers, scientists, technicians, or administrative staff
Interacts with the client in the field, at meetings, and on conference calls
Plans and coordinates all aspects of work
Prepares and manages scope, budgets, and schedules for assignments
Leads and assists with proposals
Manages and meets budgets
Meets project, client, and regulatory deadlines
Other duties as required

Qualification

New Jersey Licensed Site Remediation Professional (LSRP)OSHA 40-hour certificationCivil/Environmental Engineering degreePE licenseNJDEP requirementsProficiency with MS OfficeField sampling oversightCommunication skills

Required

BS in Civil/Environmental Engineering or related degree
Minimum 15 years of experience
New Jersey Licensed Site Remediation Professional (LSRP)
OSHA 40-hour certification with a current 8-hour annual refresher course certification
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with basic MS Office software
Driving is a requirement of the position. A clean driving record is required

Preferred

PE license is preferred
Working knowledge of NJDEP, NYSDEC, NYCDEP and/or PADEP requirements a plus
