Responsibilities

Develop, integrate, and document structural and interior payload system requirements to establish the system design
Maintain and modify structural and interior payload system and component designs using 3-D CAD tools
Perform tests to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications
Coordinate with suppliers to optimize design and achieve program goals
Investigate emerging technologies to develop concepts for future product designs

Required

Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
Experience in Model Based Definition
Proficiency in the structural design process from conceptual layout phase through build-to package release
Experience in leading a structural design team through product development

Preferred

Proficiency in CREO, CATIA, Enovia, NX CAD, and Teamcenter PDM
Experience in the utilization of new materials
Experience with design development and sustaining of lift equipment
Experience with detailed design of large, portable work platforms
Project management skills, including tracking metrics, reporting project status, and working across integrated teams
