Business Intelligence Analyst

Responsibilities

Build and maintain reports and dashboards in Oracle BI, Power BI, and Tableau to deliver insights that inform senior-level decision making
Produce deep-dive analyses to identify opportunities for process, system, and operational improvements across functions
Conduct ad hoc analysis to answer key business questions efficiently and accurately
Develop, optimize, and maintain SQL queries, views, and stored procedures using Oracle data sources (primarily from Core HR)
Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across platforms
Support our data engineering team with ETL processes, pipelines, and system integrations
Partner with IT on database design, performance tuning, and schema enhancements
Define data requirements and support the design, build, and testing of data for future software deployments and system integrations
Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into clear, technical specifications and actionable insights
Improve data literacy across teams and promote adoption of data-driven decision making
Create documentation and deliver training for dashboards, KPIs, and analytic tools
Identify and automate manual reporting and analytical workflows
Improve data processes for efficiency, reliability, and scalability
Integrate AI APIs and agent frameworks to streamline forecasting, data preparation, and reporting
Collaborate with engineering and data science teams to embed AI-powered capabilities across dashboards and pipelines
Contribute to EF’s data strategy, governance standards, and long-term analytics roadmap

Required

1-3 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a similar role
Bachelor's degree in Math, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related field
Proficiency in SQL, dbt, or other data transformation language
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, Power Query, automation/macros)
Hands-on experience designing or building Power BI dashboards
Familiarity with relational data models and building efficient data models in Power BI
Comfortable navigating ambiguity and shifting priorities
Curious, proactive, and eager to learn new tools, technologies, and processes
Experience using AI tools or techniques to enhance analysis and reporting

Preferred

Experience with Oracle Fusion Analytics or other Oracle datasets
