Portfolio Manager
Richwood Bank is a community bank that aims to inspire and support local communities. The Loan Portfolio Manager is responsible for managing and analyzing the bank's loan portfolio, ensuring compliance and sound credit quality while collaborating with various teams to support loan growth and customer service.

Responsibilities
Manage an assigned portfolio of credit relationships, ensuring accurate reporting, timely renewals, and compliance with loan terms
Conduct periodic financial reviews, covenant monitoring, collateral evaluations, and risk rating assessments
Identify deteriorating credit conditions and escalate concerns to the Chief Credit Officer or Loan Committee
Monitor and report loan policy exceptions
Monitor the Bank's Watch and Special Assets credits
Monitor compliance with loan agreements by working with the loan officer and clients to ensure timely receipt and review of financials, covenant compliance, and other loan agreement conditions
Ensure proper loan documentation, adherence to loan policies, and readiness for internal/external audits
Analyze borrower financial statements, global cash flow, tax returns, appraisals, construction documentation, and other required credit information
Assist loan officers with timely and accurate completion of commercial credit presentations, including analysis of appropriate data per credit policy, bank procedures, and regulatory requirements
Recommend appropriate credit structures, risk ratings, and mitigation strategies
Assist in the preparation of credit memos, loan modifications, renewals, and annual reviews
Maintain strong working knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements, including ECOA, TILA, HMDA, CRA, BSA, and other lending‑related regulations
Ensure loan files meet compliance and documentation standards
Work closely with Ag/Commercial Relationship Managers to support portfolio growth goals while maintaining credit quality
Demonstrate a willingness to assist the department with special projects and reporting as assigned
Participate in Loan Committee discussions and provide data‑driven recommendations
Review documentation and work with internal staff and/or Bank Counsel to ensure loan documentation is prepared in accordance with loan approval
Manage communication and coordination of documents needs and workflow objectives between Commercial Banking Team and Credit Administration
Provide support to other departments including Loan Operations, Servicing, Construction Desk, and Senior Management
Serve as a secondary point of contact for customers to obtain information, resolve issues, and ensure timely communication
Support lenders in maintaining strong customer relationships through proactive portfolio oversight
Provide timely and effective responses to servicing needs
Assist in handling customer service requests for existing relationships, including loan renewals and modifications
Complete all required training and comply with all company or regulatory policies, procedures and requirements that are applicable to this position
Ensures work completed is accurate and appropriate. Verifies and validates all data to confirm accuracy and reliability. Paying close attention to details of all information received and entered
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or related field
3–5 years of lending, credit analysis, or portfolio administration experience in a banking environment
Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Strong math skills, and ability to organize and analyze complex financial information
Ability to develop and maintain internal and external relationships
Strong analytical and financial analysis skills
Knowledge of commercial, agricultural, consumer, and/or real estate lending practices
High degree of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
Proficiency with loan systems, credit software, and Microsoft Office
Demonstrated integrity
Capability to work and collaborate with a variety of individuals and groups in a constructive and professional manner
Capability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal support
