Responsibilities

Design and operate services for role-based access control and policy enforcement
Develop event-driven controls and metadata pipelines to automate governance workflows
Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, and Security to translate requirements into technical controls
Manage projects end-to-end from design to implementation and operability
Standardize best practices for data privacy and lineage across company's data platform

Required

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
5+ years in software engineering, focusing on backend/platform services for data-intensive systems
Proficient in programming languages like Python, Java, Scala, or Go, and strong SQL skills
Hands-on experience with at least two modern data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, Trino)
Demonstrated experience with data security controls (RBAC/ABAC) in production
Experience with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure), including monitoring and incident response
Track record of delivering complex projects involving multiple stakeholders
