Responsibilities

Receives material from looms, finishing unit, Non-Woven processes, Supply Room, or grading areas

Prepares yarn or fabric samples for various tests

Tests samples per written instructions

Runs chemical analysis when required

Test pre-mixed finishes

Prepares log and work sheets suitable for keying

Advises Lab Manager, local Q. C., and production personnel of non-conforming materials

Prepares and tests laminate samples

Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor

Qualification

Chemical analysisLaboratory testingQuality controlBasic math skillsReading instructionsManufacturing experience

Required

Proficient in basic skills of reading, writing, and math

Must accurately follow written instructions and determine percents, and averages for samples

Must have at least a high school diploma or GED (This must be presented before hire. Transcripts will be accepted as well.)

Preferred

Previous manufacturing laboratory experience highly preferred

Must have experience looking for quality issues/defects
