Responsibilities
Following assembly procedures in accordance to specifications and by using hand and power tools and test equipment
Removing small quantities of metal to clean parts or achieve a precise fit between components
Drilling, tapping, or reaming holes as necessary
Aligning various components and securing them together using bolts, screws, or rivets
Setting up, assembling, repairing, testing, and packaging final and sub-assemblies
Maintaining the required work quality and output at all workstations and assembly lines, while adhering to established requirements
Operating test equipment to ensure that the product meets all necessary specifications, and promptly documenting and reporting any discrepancies
Maintaining and reporting inventory accuracy
Performing housekeeping and organization duties in the department and work area, which could include sweeping the area, disposing of trash, and performing minor maintenance on certain pieces of equipment
Qualification
Required
Sit or stand for up to 10 hours a day
Walk distances across our production area
Perform frequent, repetitive elbow movements
Reach, grasp, grip, and provide fine manipulation with hands
Work independently, manage multiple assignments, and meet tight deadlines
Preferred
Soldering experience is a plus, but not required
