Program Director - LICSW/LMHC

Arbour Counseling Services is excited to offer a Full Time Partial Hospitalization Director role at our Partial Hospitalization Program in Franklin, MA. The PHP Director is responsible for the overall quality and fiscal management of the program, ensuring compliance with regulations and promoting program development through relationship building.

Responsibilities

Oversee all programmatic and operational aspects of the PHP program
Manage budgetary expectations and ability to coordinate provision of services with various disciplines
Maintain agreed upon census levels in the program
Market and Cultivate relationships with other providers, local and state agencies, and managed care organizations
Coordinate and conduct intakes
Negotiate fee agreements if necessary
Assure that insurance verification and billing are completed for each client and in a timely manner
Assure co-payments are collected
Assist with resolving problem claims with contracted billing company
Develop program effectiveness and methods of treatment in keeping with current practices
Run the staff and treatment team meetings
Provide group and individual clinical supervision for staff
Coordinate clinical information between the treatment team and the prescriber
Assure that treatment planning is well designed and implemented
Conduct the insurance authorizations and concurrent reviews with insurance companies
Manage quality assurance of the program and its medical records in compliance with insurance standards
Coordinate transportation arrangement for clients
Assure that payroll timesheets are collected and sent to the payroll department in a timely manner
Responsible for reporting program statistics to Supervising Director of PHP and COO
Responsible for public relations and program growth
Ensures the continual growth of the Program through effective selection and development of staff
Plans and executes work systematically, and with established priorities for greater efficiency as well as efficiently utilizing personnel, equipment and staff to meet cost and quality standards
Other duties as assigned
Fosters staff development and growth of team
Provides regular coaching and feedback to employees to motivate performance
Completes performance evaluations providing thorough feedback and goals to assigned staff by established deadlines
Coordinates and provides day-to-day oversight to staff; actively involved in resolving employee matters/issues
Maintains open communication through regular rounding and one to one meetings with employees
Ensures staff comply with assigned education requirement in a timely manner (i.e., CIA Training, HIPAA training, competencies, etc.)
Responsible for holding staff accountable with upholding facility policies/procedures and managing the corrective action process when needed
Actively participates and champions the facility’s Service Excellence and Recognition Programs
Develops team building initiatives to engage staff and build a positive team dynamic
Actively participates in the recruitment, hiring, and onboarding for all staff within the team

Required

Masters Degree in Social Work or related Program, or PhD. in Psychology from an accredited college or University
LICSW or LMHC required
Ability to communicate clearly through spoken words and in writing
Ability to withstand a varying pace in a fluid clinical setting
Ability to prioritize workload despite rapidly changing pace and multiple stresses
Ability to respond physically and mentally to psychiatric crises
Ensures the continual growth of the Program through effective selection and development of staff
Plans and executes work systematically, and with established priorities for greater efficiency as well as efficiently utilizing personnel, equipment and staff to meet cost and quality standards
Ability to commute to Franklin, MA 02038
Ability to relocate to Franklin, MA 02038 before starting work

Preferred

3 years post licensure preferred
Five years of psych experience preferably in a community health setting
Minimum of two years as a clinical supervisor or program manager preferred
