Responsibilities
Working with the customer to shape and deliver solutions while seeking customer feedback to drive and deliver improvements
Creating work plans and cost estimates for the portfolio of projects and ensuring quality, timely implementation within the targeted cost
Coordinating with relevant functions to ensure the designs are appropriately manufactured / staged, tested, installed, and commissioned
Coaching engineering colleagues on the translation of conceptual designs to engineering documentation, best practices, and lessons learned from past projects
Qualification
Required
8+ years experience in electrical distribution or power systems required
Previous field, factory, or design engineering experience in data centers, hospitals, or industrial facilities
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; fluent in English (written and spoken)
Proficiency in MS Office, MS Teams, and ability to leverage AI tools in job functions
Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to travel upwards of 40% as needed
Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
Preferred
Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering (or similar) strongly preferred
