AI Engineer Intern
Exus Renewables North America is a leading independent developer and operator of utility-scale renewable energy projects, dedicated to advancing clean energy solutions across the United States. The AI Engineer Intern will support the growing data and AI initiatives by identifying opportunities for artificial intelligence, evaluating existing data infrastructure, and assisting in implementing solutions that enhance efficiency across the organization.

Responsibilities
Assist in identifying, evaluating, and implementing AI-driven systems and automation opportunities across the Company
Recommend (and aid in the creation of) any tasks that can be automated
Assess current data infrastructure, document management workflows, and information architecture to determine readiness for AI adoption
Recommend improvements to data pipelines, storage, accessibility, and governance to enable scalable AI solutions
Support the deployment and optimization of Microsoft M365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, and other AI tools to drive operational efficiency
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to document requirements, processes, and proposed enhancements
Help prototype and test AI and automation solutions that streamline internal workflows
Qualification
Required
Pursuing a degree in Computer Sciences, Data Sciences, or other technically related field; Junior or above in Bachelor's degree program highly preferred
Familiarity with AI/ML concepts, data structure, and modern productivity tools
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word
Experience in Python, Matlab, R, or other data analytical programming languages
Experience with Power BI or other data visualization tools
SQL and API experience a plus
Native or strong proficiency in English, speaking and writing
