Responsibilities
Ensures the timely completion of discrete technical activities or operational projects; adheres to technical requirements for the project and in coordination of the various groups within the Construction project and ensures that they are properly staffed and executed
Provides timely group support services to assist the various construction projects
Ensures consistent application of construction engineering standards and practices between jobs
Responsible for ensuring documentation is adequate and developing when it is not, installing and improving processes, managing budgets, providing oversight for other workers and subcontractors, and effectively communicating with stakeholders and customers, and ultimately being responsible for the end-to-end success of the set of deliverables
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in an engineering or technical discipline or combination of education and relevant experience without a degree
15 or more years' experience in the construction field and 5 years of experience supporting the DOE mission
Construction management experience in DOE or NRC nuclear radiological facility
Professional and safety certifications relevant to construction in the DOE and nuclear complex are required
United States Citizenship
Must be able to obtain and maintain DOE Q Security Clearance
Preferred
Qualifications as an Electrical Field Work Supervisor, Field Work Supervisor and Responsible (Line) Manager are preferred
Prefer prior DOE experience in construction projects and experience in a work control setting with alignment to quality control, assurance and managing complex issues under NQA-1
