The Lead Network Engineer will be responsible for maintaining, enhancing, and troubleshooting large-scale enterprise network environments while collaborating closely with internal engineering groups.

Responsibilities
Deliver hands‑on support for day‑to‑day network operations, including issue resolution, escalation handling, and coordination with global engineering counterparts
Contribute to improving network designs and assist in planning incremental architectural enhancements across routing, switching, and Software‑Defined Access (SDA) solutions
Build and oversee an in‑house lab environment used to verify multi‑region SDA capabilities and test various deployment‑specific network scenarios
Participate in change control processes by evaluating maintenance activities, preparing configuration updates, and engaging in scheduled maintenance or upgrade windows
Provide ongoing technical expertise, including incident support, root‑cause investigations, and informal knowledge‑sharing sessions for operations personnel
Qualification
Required
At least 2 years of hands‑on experience working with Cisco DNAC/Catalyst Center for provisioning, monitoring, and operational workflows
Strong foundational knowledge of Cisco Software‑Defined Access, including LISP, fabric components, segmentation, and DNAC/ISE interoperability
Working experience with Cisco Catalyst 9000 Series switches (9200CX, 9300, 9500, 9600)
Solid understanding of IPv4/IPv6 routing technologies such as BGP, IS‑IS, and OSPF
Preferred
Preferred experience with IPv4/IPv6 multicast or automation/scripting tools such as Python, Ansible, or Robot Framework
