Compliance Specialist (Full Time)
North Country Healthcare is a non-profit organization that operates multiple medical facilities in New Hampshire. The Compliance Specialist will manage and oversee compliance policies and documentation across these affiliates, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and promoting standardized workflows to enhance healthcare services.

Responsibilities
Oversee and manage the lifecycle of policies, forms, and contracts across affiliates
Ensure all documentation is updated in accordance with regulatory requirements
Coordinate with stakeholders to gather necessary input for document updates
Maintain a centralized repository for all governed documents to ensure version control
Conduct regular compliance audits and prepare reports on findings
Collaborate with legal and operational teams to identify and mitigate compliance risks
Develop and implement standardized templates for documentation management
Facilitate training sessions on compliance processes and protocols
Monitor changes in healthcare regulations and update documentation accordingly
Track review cycles and ensure timely completion and approvals
Manage stakeholder communication regarding compliance deadlines and requirements
Contribute to system-wide efforts to standardize and streamline documentation processes
Support migration and integration of documentation management systems
Provide expertise during internal and external compliance audits
Promote a culture of compliance through regular communication and education initiatives
Qualification
Required
Associate's degree in healthcare administration, Business, Law, or a related field
Association accredited course in Basic Life Support (BLS) (for clinical staff), or Heartsaver CPR AED (for nonclinical staff), and renewal on a regular basis, with up to a three-month grace period after the expiration date
Strong knowledge of healthcare compliance regulations and standards
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Proficient in document management systems and compliance software
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare compliance or a related field
Preferred
Bachelors preferred, will consider work experience in lieu of degree
Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP), Certified Professional Compliance Officer (CPCO), or Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) are advantageous
Experience with multi-entity governance and standardized workflows is preferred
