Responsibilities
Design, deploy, and operate cloud infrastructure in AWS, Azure, and/or GCP
Build and manage managed Kubernetes clusters (EKS, AKS, GKE)
Implement best practices for cloud security, including IAM, network segmentation, and secure workloads
Design and maintain cloud networking and routing, including VPC/VNet architecture, load balancing, and private connectivity
Collaborate with application teams to support scalable, resilient deployments
Work within Agile development processes, contributing to planning, standups, and retrospectives
Use Git-based workflows for infrastructure and configuration management
Troubleshoot production issues and continuously improve reliability and performance
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience as a Cloud Engineer, Platform Engineer, or similar role
Bachelors in a related field
Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP (deep expertise in at least one)
Strong experience operating managed Kubernetes in production environments
Solid understanding of cloud security principles and secure architecture design
Experience with cloud networking, including routing, firewalls, DNS, and load balancers
Proficiency with Git and collaborative version control workflows
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Strong troubleshooting skills and a systems-thinking mindset
Preferred
Experience with Terraform or OpenTofu for infrastructure-as-code (IaC)
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and GitOps practices
Experience supporting multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments
Exposure to observability tools (logging, monitoring, alerting)
Willing and Eligible to obtain a clearance
