Responsibilities
Work closely with manufacturing team members on the plant floor to develop process improvement areas and understand manufacturing processes
Coordinate activities of contractors, hourly team members, and other resources
Prepare standard reports and documentation to communicate results
Manage entire projects from scope development, capital budgeting, implementation, commissioning, and verification
Collect, analyze, and utilize data to execute improvements while working with salaried and operations team members to deliver effective projects
Qualification
Required
A well-rounded skill set, including the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite - especially Excel
Willingness to roll up sleeves and perform a variety of tasks necessary to support the organization
Proven leadership skills
Strong analytical thinking skills and quick acclimation to systems
Work in a cold environment
Learn quickly and work well independently
Collaborate, communicate, and work effectively in a team environment
Thrive in a fast-paced environment
Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
Works with assigned priorities, projects, and timelines concurrently
Preferred
A junior or senior enrolled at an accredited college/university, in good standing in school, with requisite educational experience in engineering – Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Industrial engineering is preferred
