Responsibilities
Build, configure, and maintain Linux-based virtual test environments using Hyper-V
Ensure test environments accurately reflect real-world production scenarios
Develop and maintain scripts using Bash or PowerShell to automate QA workflows
Execute functional, performance, and stability tests across systems and applications
Identify, document, and help troubleshoot software defects and system issues
Diagnose and resolve issues related to Linux systems, virtual machines, and performance
Collaborate closely with engineering and QA teams to improve testing coverage and reliability
Maintain clear documentation for system configurations, test procedures, and troubleshooting steps
Continuously improve QA processes, tooling, and automation frameworks
Stay current on product updates and incorporate new features into testing strategies
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred
Three to five years of experience in quality assurance, systems administration, or a related technical role
Strong experience managing Linux environments such as Ubuntu, CentOS, or Red Hat
Hands-on experience with Hyper-V or similar virtualization platforms
Proficiency in scripting with Bash, PowerShell, or similar languages
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to clearly document systems, processes, and issues
Strong communication skills and comfort working across technical teams
Preferred
Experience in cybersecurity, endpoint protection, or enterprise software environments
Experience building or supporting automated QA pipelines
Familiarity with large-scale or security-focused software platforms
Experience working in fast-paced, product-driven engineering environments
