Responsibilities
The Precision Meso-scale Technology Center (PMTC) located on Client's campus in Santa Rosa, CA exists to provide mechanical solutions that enable the capabilities of Client's industry leading electronic measurement equipment
As a machinist you will develop and sustain machining processes utilizing cutting edge machine tools such as Swiss Style Lathes, Single and Multi-Turret Lathes, and 3 to 5 axis Milling centers
Working closely with R&D on microwave applications, you will influence designs for mechanical components and assemblies, ensure design for manufacturability, facilitate release and support production
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma
Associates Degree or Journeyman Machinist certification a plus
3 to 5 axis Milling
Swiss Style Lathes
Mill/Turn Machine Center
Advanced Metrology
CNC Programming/CAM Programming Software
CAD/Solid Modeling
Tool Grinding
Interpreting specifications including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
Highly motivated individual with desire to learn advanced machining skills
