Defibtech is seeking a Material Handler, responsible for providing support to day-to-day inventory and production activities. This position is based on site at our Branford, CT manufacturing site.

Responsibilities

Supports the movement of materials throughout the sites
Provides support in maintaining an organized warehouse and production floor by loading, unloading, stocking, unboxing inventory items, and building product boxes for shipment
Receives inventory into the ERP system
Pulls and kits inventory for jobbing process
Operates pad screen station as needed
Provides backup support in driving the company truck to move inventory between locations
Demonstrates Defibtech’s values on the job
Promotes and participates in continuous improvement
Actively supports compliance of Company operations to all applicable laws, regulations and standards, good business practices and company documented procedures (including but not limited to FDA, Quality Systems Regulations, safety regulations, and applicable statutes)

Required

Valid CT driver's license and clean driving record is required
Valid DOT Medical Examination Card or the ability to obtain one within 30 days of hire
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Flexibility and availability to work overtime as needed
Ability to operate a forklift and tow motor as trained

Preferred

Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting is preferred
