Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, and deployment of high-quality, scalable, and resilient applications using Java, Angular, python, and SQL
Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Drive best practices in software development, including code quality, testing, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD)
Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to the evolution of our technology platforms
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls related to technology and risk management
Support the integration of AI and emerging technologies to enhance client and employee experiences
Demonstrate teamwork. Promote a collaborative and inclusive work environment aligned with our company culture and values
Qualification
Required
strong hands-on experience in technical design, development, implementation, and documentation of cross-functional, multi-platform application systems
thorough and demonstrable knowledge with the following technologies: Core Java (and related tools such as Visio Studio/IntelliJ, etc), Core Spring Framework, Python/R Script, webservices, relational databases, GIT, frontend framework such as Angular, etc
intermediate understanding of security principles, and architecture design principles
programming well-designed, testable, efficient code
analyze, design and develop tests and test-automation suites
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field
solid understanding of SDLC, specifically Agile methodologies
5 plus years' experience developing applications using Java, Spring/Spring Boot, python, Angular
familiarity with Kafka, Hazelcast AWS (S3), AI, JIRA, Confluence
