1+ years expBedrock Land Finance is seeking a high-performing Analyst or Associate to support investments in landbanking, acquisition and development lending, and residential land acquisition strategies. This role involves underwriting, financial modeling, due diligence, and portfolio management across residential land and lot development and homebuilding transactions.

Responsibilities
Prepare detailed financial models (Cash Flow, DCF, IRR, equity multiple, waterfall structures)
Underwrite landbanking, A&D loans, and lot acquisition transactions
Perform sensitivity analysis on absorption, pricing, cost inflation, and capital structures
Analyze market comparables, lot pricing trends, and homebuilder margins
Evaluate risk factors including entitlement, horizontal development, and take-down structures
Coordinate third-party reports (appraisals, environmental, engineering, market studies)
Review development budgets, pro formas, and vertical construction assumptions
Assist in negotiating loan documents, purchase agreements, and landbank structures
Prepare investment memos for internal investment committee approval
Track housing market trends, absorption rates, and builder activity
Monitor interest rate and capital markets trends affecting residential development
Analyze competitive land positions and builder demand
Monitor active investments for performance vs. underwriting
Track covenant compliance and development milestones
Prepare quarterly reporting packages for investors and lenders
Support capital calls, draw requests, and loan funding processes
Qualification
Required
1–4 years of experience in real estate investment, land development, home building, land acquisition, landbanking or lending
Strong Excel modeling skills
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or related field
Experience interacting with developers, builders, or capital partners preferred
Strong quantitative and analytical skills
High attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously
Clear written and verbal communication
Self-starter with strong work ethic
Commercially minded with sound risk judgment
