Responsibilities
Providing implementation solutions for protecting various software applications
Creating prototypes to validate designs
Preparing UML diagrams to depict both current and future application states
Involved in every release and project phase of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Supervise and develop software to ensure the delivery of initiatives for specific applications or application groups
Ensuring stability and quality in deliverables
Developing, enhancing, testing, supporting, maintaining, and debugging software applications that support business units or functions
Assist senior business leaders and management, potentially providing strategic technical direction and system architecture for individual initiatives
Recommend innovations that enhance the organization's competitive advantage
Qualification
Required
Over 10 years of hands-on experience developing mission-critical, large-scale, high-volume enterprise and distributed applications using Java/J2EE
Strong understanding of object-oriented design and programming skills with Java, and knowledge of J2EE application servers
Experience in Java development of RESTful Services using the Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and SOAP Webservices
Experience with Apache Kafka for online data publishing and consuming
Experience in Junit Test case development, Performance Testing, Optimization, and Code analysis
Experience using Relational Oracle SQL/PLSQL and NoSQL distributed Cassandra DB Technologies
Proficiency in using development tools like Eclipse/IntelliJ IDEs, Maven, GIT, Bitbucket, CI/CD pipelines, Splunk, and SOAP UI
Experience in building high-volume, scalable, available, and distributed technologies
Familiarity with standard development design patterns of Creational, Behavioral, and JEE
Experience handling cross-functional issues by coordinating with distributed development teams across regions
Experience with development models such as Agile and SDLC, with knowledge of test-driven development
Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a constantly changing environment to meet release deliverables
