Responsibilities

Independently conduct risk based testing and ongoing monitoring of Deposits processes to assess control design and operating effectiveness
Develop and execute appropriate testing strategies, including defining scope, selecting samples, and determining testing methods
Lead walkthroughs with Deposits teams to gain a better and comprehensive understanding of processes, risks, and controls
Clearly document testing results and findings in complete and accurate work papers that meet testing and monitoring standards
Identify, communicate, and escalate control deficiencies, emerging risks, and trends in a timely and professional manner
Build and maintain strong working relationships with Deposits leadership, business partners, and cross functional teams
Collaborate with managers and Deposits leaders to address control issues
Perform special projects and ad hoc reviews outside of standard RCSA testing, including but not limited to targeted process reviews, Issue Validation and closure testing, continuous monitoring initiatives, preparation for internal or external audits and regulatory exams
Assist management with duties as necessary

Required

1+ years of experience in banking operations, risk, compliance, audit, quality required
Understanding of the Financial Services industry, with an emphasis on Risk Management; as well as related laws, rules, and regulations
Ability to adapt to change quickly
High level of problem-solving capability and research-oriented skills
Well-organized and thorough work ethic
Strong Communication skills both written and verbal
Strong skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred

Project management experience preferred
Prior experience in an Analyst role preferred
