Responsibilities
Coordinate and oversee the load planning and warehouse operations for Shipco controlled consol containers and customer own containers
Ensure timely and accurate processing of shipments, tracking, and documentation
Act as a central point of contact for internal departments, external partners, key global accounts and vendors
Assist the operations department with managing emails pertaining to O,S&D holds, transit/schedule inquires, warehousing services and any distributing any other inquires to the appropriate parties
Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between different teams to ensure seamless operations
Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement efficient workflows
Work closely with relevant teams to streamline operations and enhance overall efficiency
Maintain accurate records of shipments, transactions, and other relevant documentation
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies
Address and resolve operational issues in a timely manner
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and find solutions to challenges that may arise
Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in operations coordination or a similar role
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Familiarity with logistics and supply chain processes
Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Proficiency in using relevant software and tools
