Security Analyst (IT)
DaVita Kidney Care is focused on supporting cybersecurity risk management programs. The Analyst, IT Risk & Audit role involves assessing technology risks, evaluating control effectiveness, and partnering with various teams to manage and communicate cyber risks effectively.

Responsibilities
Conduct cybersecurity risk assessments for applications, infrastructure, cloud services, and third parties
Evaluate security control design and operating effectiveness against internal standards and frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO)
Support audit activities by collecting evidence, responding to inquiries, and tracking remediation of findings and MAPs
Manage cybersecurity risk exceptions, including documentation, approvals, renewals, and monitoring of compensating controls
Maintain risk registers, assessment documentation, and metrics used for leadership reporting and governance forums
Partner with IT and Security teams to assess risk associated with new initiatives, changes, incidents, and vendor engagements
Monitor emerging cyber risks and contribute to continuous improvement of risk and audit processes
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Risk Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
2+ years of experience in IT risk, cybersecurity, audit, compliance, or related roles
Working knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, controls, and regulatory considerations (HIPAA preferred)
Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, highly regulated environment
