Responsibilities
Designs, develops, and maintains enterprise performance dashboards using Power BI and other visualization platforms
Extracts, transforms, and analyzes data using SQL, SAP, and other County enterprise systems to support operational reporting and performance monitoring
Develops and maintains data models, queries, and automated reporting pipelines to support CountyStat performance reporting cycles
Works with agencies to define, standardize, and document performance measures, KPIs, and operational metrics aligned with County strategic priorities
Uses Visio and similar tools to develop data flow diagrams, process maps, and system architecture documentation supporting data governance and operational workflows
Integrates data from multiple operational systems to create unified reporting views for leadership decision-making
Performs data validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance to ensure accuracy and reliability of reported performance metrics
Develops and maintains documentation for data sources, calculation methodologies, and reporting logic
Supports development of performance scorecards, executive briefings, and operational reports for County leadership
Collaborates with OIT, OMB, and agency technical teams to improve data accessibility, system integration, and reporting automation
Provides technical assistance and training to agencies on performance reporting tools, dashboards, and data submission processes
Conducts trend analysis, forecasting support, and performance improvement analysis using operational and programmatic data
Supports special initiatives, performance reviews, and executive data requests related to County priority initiatives and operational outcomes
Participates in data governance, data standardization, and enterprise reporting modernization efforts
May supervise or provide technical oversight to junior analysts or contractors supporting performance analytics work
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Accounting, Business/Public Management, Finance, Economics, Quantitative Analyses, or closely related field
Three (3) years of progressively responsible administrative and budgeting experience; including at least one (1) year in the lead/supervisory role
