Diagnostic Imaging Physicist - Radiology
Penn State University is seeking a non-tenure line Diagnostic Medical Physicist to support imaging physics activities at the College and Penn State Health's medical centers. The role involves providing physics support for various imaging modalities, conducting quality assurance, and engaging in education and training.

Responsibilities
Support imaging physics activities at the College and Penn State Health's five medical centers and numerous outpatient clinics
Provide physics support for a customizable selection of modalities (radiographic, fluoroscopic, CT, ultrasound, mammographic, MR, or nuclear medicine/PET imaging)
Acceptance testing
Routine performance testing
Quality assurance oversight
ACR accreditation support
Radiation shielding and dosimetry calculations
Clinical research support
Education/training of technologists, physicist assistants, medical residents, and physicians
Qualification
Required
Graduate degree (MS, DMP, or PhD) in medical physics or a related discipline
At least two years of experience in clinical diagnostic radiology/nuclear medicine physics (including residency, if applicable)
Board certification or eligibility in Diagnostic Medical Physics from the American Board of Radiology
Excellent organizational skills

Valid driver's license
