Responsibilities
Run functional, electrical, and mechanical tests on finished products and sub-assemblies according to standardized protocols
Identify, analyze, and root-cause hardware or software failures; determine if the issue is a component defect, an assembly error, or a design flaw
Set up and maintain specialized test fixtures and diagnostic tools (such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, or automated test stations) to ensure accuracy
Maintain precise records of test results, including "Pass/Fail" logs and detailed reports on repair actions taken
Ensure all products meet internal quality standards and external regulatory requirements before moving to the packaging stage
Communicate technical issues clearly to production supervisors and engineers to help reduce recurring defects and improve manufacturing yield
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma required
1–3 years of experience in a testing or technician role within a manufacturing environment
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
Proficiency with basic hand tools and electronic measurement equipment (VOM, Amp meters, etc.)
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience using computerized testing interfaces
Preferred
Associate degree in Electronics, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a related field is highly preferred
