Agentic Safety and Ecosystem Architect, Trust and Safety
Google is a leading technology company, and they are seeking an Agentic Safety and Ecosystem Architect for their Trust and Safety team. This role involves designing for the safety and integrity of autonomous AI agents across the Android platform, bridging technical capabilities with user safety, and developing frameworks to mitigate potential harms from AI interactions.

Responsibilities
Develop the rules of engagement for autonomous agents on Android, ensuring that multi-step plans are audited for safety before execution
Implement strict "least-privilege" models so agents cannot escalate system permissions or access sensitive user data without explicit, context-aware consent
Partner with the Product team to build runtime monitoring that identifies "agentic drift," recursive loops, or adversarial attempts to hijack agent reasoning
Create self-testing kits for the Android developer community to ensure that third-party agents are built with brakes and kill-switches
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
7 years of experience in data analytics, Trust and Safety, policy, cybersecurity, or related fields
Experience with ML/AI based programs in Trust and Safety
Preferred
Master's degree or PhD in a relevant field
Experience in agentic architecture and data permissions
Experience in technical product design and AI systems
Experience in program management
Understanding of AI/ML system safety and integrity
