Responsibilities
Focus on packaging moisture- and UV-sensitive material in a less-than-ideal environment
Develop metrics to balance schedule and line loading in a complex production environment
Manage a budget, communicate with vendors, and define a purchasing plan
Present and explain their plan to a team of engineers and technicians, and incorporate their feedback to fulfill their vision
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited university in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Logistics; junior or senior standing by fall 2026
Strong interest in logistics and supply chain
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Strong communication and organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Ability to travel for in-person orientation and program kickoff as well as for final presentation at program completion
