Principal Engineer
Newpage Solutions is a global digital health innovation company focused on transformative AI and data-driven technologies. They are seeking a highly experienced Principal Engineer to lead architecture and solution design across Revenue Management, Contracting, and Patient Services platforms within the Salesforce ecosystem in a regulated healthcare or life sciences environment.
Responsibilities
Lead architecture and solution design across Revenue Management, Contracting, and Patient Services platforms
Define enterprise-wide design standards, integration patterns, and best practices across the Salesforce ecosystem
Provide technical oversight for SFDC implementations including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and custom Polaris integrations
Ensure scalable, secure, and compliant system architecture (HIPAA, GDPR, SOX where applicable)
Design and optimize solutions supporting:
Pricing & Contract Lifecycle Management
Chargebacks & Rebates
Gross-to-Net calculations
Revenue forecasting and reporting
Collaborate with Finance, Market Access, and Commercial teams to translate business needs into technical solutions
Lead system integrations with ERP (SAP/Oracle), data warehouses, and analytics platforms
Architect end-to-end patient journey solutions including:
Case management
Benefits verification
Prior authorization workflows
Copay assistance programs
Patient onboarding & engagement
Optimize patient data flow across CRM, HUB systems, and third-party vendors
Drive design and governance across Salesforce orgs
Lead custom development (Apex, LWC, APIs) and system integrations
Ensure optimal configuration of:
Sales Cloud
Service Cloud
Health Cloud (preferred)
Manage data models, APIs, middleware (MuleSoft preferred), and event-driven architectures
Oversee CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices
Serve as a technical advisor to business stakeholders and executive leadership
Mentor engineering teams and conduct architecture reviews
Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies and platform enhancements
Lead large-scale transformation initiatives across commercial and patient operations
Qualification
Required
12+ years of experience in enterprise engineering roles
5+ years in Revenue Management and/or Patient Services platforms within Healthcare or Life Sciences
Deep expertise in Salesforce (SFDC) architecture and ecosystem
Strong experience in Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) and Gross-to-Net processes
Experience integrating CRM with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
Proven expertise in API-led integrations and middleware platforms
Strong understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements (HIPAA preferred)
Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills
Experience with Polaris platform implementations
Experience with Health Cloud and Patient Support Services systems
Knowledge of data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, etc.)
Experience leading global delivery teams
