Responsibilities
Provide end-to-end program management for interoperability call orders and features aligned to management operational informatics pipeline and clinical operational informatics pipeline requirements
Lead delivery of eHealth Exchange program and product management, including partner onboarding, membership access, analytics, policy coordination, and performance monitoring
Oversee implementation and sustainment of ADT/eNotifications capabilities and adoption support for VA medical centers
Manage interoperability activities supporting VA/DoD shared health records, CHDR evaluation, JLV enablement, and interagency exchange use cases
Ensure interoperability solutions align with HL7®, FHIR®, CDA®, SNOMED CT®, LOINC®, and other national interoperability standards as applicable
Coordinate with Integration and Clinical Informatics Solutions teams to ensure interoperability features integrate with enterprise data pipelines, dashboards, and clinical workflows
Maintain program risk registers, dependency logs, and mitigation plans; report progress using program required flow efficiency, capacity allocation, value delivered, and next-iteration planning
Ensure deliverables meet acceptance criteria and VA security, privacy, and data governance requirements
Qualification
Required
Master's degree in Health Informatics, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
Minimum of 15 years of experience managing healthcare IT or interoperability programs
Demonstrated experience managing health information exchange (HIE) or standards-based interoperability initiatives
Experience delivering work in SAFe® or Agile environments using Jira/Jira Align
Demonstrated understanding of VA healthcare technology development and sustainment programs (e.g. ServiceNow, Federal EHR) and VA IT and data platforms (e.g. Corporate Data Warehouse (CDW), VistA/CPRS)
Familiarity with eHealth Exchange, VHIE, JLV, or interagency data-sharing initiatives
Preferred
Experience supporting VA, DoD, or other federal health interoperability programs
