Responsibilities
Monitor production systems, analyze alerts, and identify root causes and improvement opportunities
Lead or support incident response (SWAT) for high‑priority issues
Diagnose complex problems across Mainframe, Linux/Unix, Windows, Cloud, Network, and Storage
Support scheduling jobs, MQ, transmissions (SFTP/NDM), backups/restores, and mainframe commands (including IPLs)
Maintain logs, documentation, and runbooks; document incidents in ServiceNow/Remedy
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to tune applications and promote best ITIL practices
Support production installs, DR testing, and industry testing
Drive automation and operational standardization
Provide 24×7 support coverage as needed
Qualification
Required
5+ years in Technology Operations or similar role
Strong troubleshooting, communication, and analytical skills
Experience working with technical teams, vendors, and business partners
Knowledge of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change)
Multi‑platform expertise: Mainframe (OS390/JCL), Linux/Unix, Windows, Storage
Scheduling tools (UC4/Control‑M)
AWS and cloud tooling
Network fundamentals, MQ operations, Splunk
Understanding of enterprise environments and monitoring systems
Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems or related field
Preferred
Financial/clearing industry experience preferred
ITIL certification
