Responsibilities
Build and maintain relationships with electrical power distribution equipment suppliers, ensuring proactive quality management throughout the product life-cycle
Lead in-depth power distribution failure investigations, identifying true root causes and implementing systemic corrective actions to prevent recurrence
Analyze production metrics, test results, quality audits, and field performance data to establish statistical links and drive proactive quality improvements
Validate supplier build and test processes against Google requirements and relevant industry standards (e.g., Production Part Approval Process) to ensure compliance and product life-cycle integrity
Conduct supplier audits and inspections, identifying areas for improvement in variability reduction, predictability, lead time optimization, and output quality enhancement
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or equivalent practical experience
2 years of experience in program management
Experience in stakeholder management and quality assurance
Preferred
2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects
Experience in end-to-end product life-cycle management, including developing customer user journey maps, aligning to specific requirements for development, and working with technical resources to deliver expected outcomes for products and solutions
Experience with FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis) process and interacts with functional engineering teams
Experience in quality control, quality assurance, and stakeholder management
