Responsibilities
Create alignments and profiles for pipeline projects
Draft plan and profile markups
Draft site plans and markups
Create drawing sets
Draft mechanical piping layouts markups
Identify drawing issues
Communicate with department staff on project status to maintain schedules
Work with other CADD staff to develop procedures and troubleshoot software issues
Qualification
Required
Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D
1-3 years of related utility pipeline experience
Create pipeline alignments and profiles
Prepare mechanical drawings
Ability to create drawing sets following US National CAD and Company Standards
High attention to detail
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Goal-oriented and highly organized
Desire and ability to learn new technologies
Self-motivated, team player
Preferred
Ability to create and manipulate surfaces is a plus
AutoCAD Pipes Routine is a plus
Survey data integration using Autoline is a plus
Ability to assemble mechanical piping systems from published data is a plus
Ability to create building plans, sections, elevations, and details is a plus
