2+ years expTalent Bridge is assisting a client in hiring an Industrial Electrical & Instrumentation Technician to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair electrical and instrumentation systems at the Theodore Cement Plant. This role focuses on ensuring operational reliability through diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance in a safety-oriented industrial environment.

Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment, including instrumentation circuits, motor control circuits (up to 13.8 kV), low and medium voltage drives, and monitoring analyzers
Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on electrical systems
Read schematics and calibrate instrumentation
Use digital and analog PLC programs for troubleshooting
Route, splice, and terminate low and medium voltage cables
Perform basic mechanical tasks (non-critical welding, laser alignment)
Conduct walk-by inspections and diagnostic checks
Maintain documentation and plan work efficiently
Collaborate with contractors and other personnel as needed
Participate in formal and on-the-job training programs and cross-training activities
Perform other duties as assigned
Promote a culture of safety by adhering to health, safety, and environmental policies
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma/GED required; 2 years of technical college in a related field preferred
2–4 years industrial experience (equivalent education may be considered)
General knowledge of electrical theory and electrical safety
Ability to operate electrical test equipment
Strong accuracy, mathematical, and problem-solving skills
Effective computer and systems skills
Minimal travel required
Commitment to safety and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
