Responsibilities
Expert knowledge of engineering work planning
Experience managing a warehouse
Knowledge of manufacturing principles and workshop safety
Expert knowledge of Laboratory procedures, standards and guides related to ALDWP
Expert knowledge of industry, regulatory, or DOE/NNSA complex codes, standards, and criteria pertinent to the Plutonium Manufacturing
Experience mentoring junior staff or leading technical teams
Knowledge of welding techniques, including EBW and GMAW
Qualification

Position requires a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology Science, Math or related degree from an accredited institution and 8 years of directly related experience; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience directly related to the occupation
Requires a high school diploma
Selected applicants will be subject to a background investigation conducted by or on behalf of the Federal Government, and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified matter
This position requires a Q clearance
To obtain a clearance, an individual must be at least 18 years of age; U.S. citizenship is required except in very limited circumstances
This position is subject to the requirements of the DOE Human Reliability Program as specified in 10 Code of Federal Regulation, Part 712
The Laboratory requires successful applicants to complete a new-employment drug test and maintains a substance abuse policy that includes random drug testing
