Systems Engineer - Aerospace and Aviation

Responsibilities
Lead Systems Engineering activities across product development, upgrades, and maintenance, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality artifacts such as requirements specifications, systems architecture models (MBSE), interface documentation, and other relevant materials
Serve as a technical subject matter expert in Systems Engineering and/or MBSE
Support clients in their digital transformation journey by implementing Systems Engineering best practices, sharing lessons learned, and providing coaching and training to fellow engineers
Evaluate and support the advancement of Systems Engineering maturity within client organizations
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field
5+ years of relevant experience in Systems Engineering
Strong understanding of systems architecture (functional and logical), requirements engineering, interface definition, and verification & validation
Experience applying and teaching systems engineering processes (e.g., ISO15288), including mentoring junior engineers
Proficiency in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), including tools such as Cameo, Catia, and modeling languages/frameworks like SysML
Familiarity with requirements management tools (e.g., IBM DOORS, DOORS NG)
Preferred
Relevant certifications (e.g., INCOSE SEP, OMG MBSE certifications, IREB) are a plus
Experience with commercial aircraft design, FAR Part 25, and ARP-4761 is advantageous but not required
