Responsibilities

Will inspect parts using measuring gages according to blueprints
Will complete the DMR process if parts are non-conforming
Will check concentricity, runout, and have the ability to check tenths in accordance with prints
Will use optical comparators, height gages, thread gages, etc
Will complete forms and file results in job file
Will also be required to make visual inspections of surface finishes
Will notify Manufacturing Manager or Plant Manager if components are non-conforming

Required

Must be able to read prints
Must be able to inspect parts (samples of production runs from CNC Machines, machined parts)
Must be able to check parts using/ reading hand gages: micrometers, calipers, height gages
Must have min 1-2 years experience
Will inspect parts using measuring gages according to blueprints
Will complete the DMR process if parts are non-conforming
Will check concentricity, runout, and have the ability to check tenths in accordance with prints
Will use optical comparators, height gages, thread gages, etc
Will complete forms and file results in job file
Will also be required to make visual inspections of surface finishes
Will notify Manufacturing Manager or Plant Manager if components are non-conforming

Preferred

CMM experience helpful but not required
