New Grad, Entry LevelThe Town of Wendell is seeking enthusiastic and dependable individuals to join their Recreation & Parks Department team. The Program Leader III will perform various tasks related to recreation programs, ensuring a positive customer experience while maintaining facilities and overseeing activities.

Responsibilities
Prepare, Maintain and Secure recreation facilities and athletic fields for daily operations, general programs, and/or athletic games and practices
Establish authority in the facility by greeting the public as they enter and provide a positive customer experience
Monitor the facilities’ activities and outside areas for appropriate behavior
Maintain appropriate records, accident/incident reports and daily logs
Communicate with outside vendors, instructors, games officials and/or coaches to insure activities are completed in a timely manner
Additional duties may include assisting in departmental special event set-up, execution and breakdown
Other related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
A valid North Carolina driver's license and high school diploma or equivalent is preferred
Applicants under age 16 must provide a valid NCDOL worker's permit
Applicant should possess First Aid/CPR/AED certification or complete a certification course offered by the City of Graham
Attendance at additional training offered by the City of Graham, including diversity training, is required
Selected candidate must submit to and pass a background check and drug screen prior to employment
