Responsibilities
The Production Supervisor is responsible for ensuring performance to established safety, quality, cost and productivity standards and best practices through engagement and involvement of Production employees
Must be supervising production employees and production lines
In addition, they will lead the continuous improvement process to optimize safety, quality and productivity within defined manufacturing system and process limits
Promote an observable culture of process safety, quality, and customer service within their organizational control
Qualification
Required
High School diploma or GED required
5 years of experience, preferably managing a union workforce
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing
Excellent organizational and multi-tasking abilities
Must be able to work in team environment
Understanding of manufacturing processes and key operational metrics
Effective communication for organizational alignment
Familiarity with quality systems and inventory control
Ability to analyze safety hazards and understand safety protocols
Quick comprehension of safety policies, production rates, and performance tracking
Preferred
BS in Engineering
