Responsibilities
Deep experience in X12 (850/855/856/810/820/940/945/997), EDIFACT (ORDERS, ORDRSP, DESADV, INVOIC, CONTRL), VDA/GS1
Protocols: AS2/AS4, SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS; envelopes, acks (997/CONTRL), MDNs, batch vs real time
Mapping/translation, validations, idempotency, retries, back pressure, exception handling
At least two of: IBM Sterling, SEEBURGER BIS, Axway, Boomi EDI, webMethods B2B/TN, OpenText GXS, TLE/other translators
Experience with partner/VAN ecosystems and certificate/key management
AWS/Azure/GCP primitives, VPC design, private connectivity, secrets/KMS/Key Vault; Docker/Kubernetes for B2B runtimes
OAuth2/OIDC/JWT for B2B APIs; mTLS; PCI/GDPR awareness; auditability and non repudiation guarantee
Executive communication, stakeholder alignment, negotiation of trade offs, mentoring, clear documentation
