Quality Engineer

The Quality Engineer will perform engineering calculations, develop quality management systems, conduct inspections, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and reduce costs.

Responsibilities
Assists in preparing reports, graphs, planning layouts and summaries designed to communicate project progress or results
Designs, develops, analyzes, troubleshoots and provides technical skills and training
Utilizes Computer-Aided Design (CAD), 2D and 3D drawings, schematics, general arrangement and production layout drawings, load calculations, stress analysis, and/or fabrication/shop drawings to assist with defining problems and completing engineering projects
Creating, documenting, and enforcing quality standards and inspection procedures (ISO 9001)
Help conducting in-process, final, and incoming material inspections to ensure compliance
Investigating, troubleshooting, and resolving product failures and production non-conformances
Using statistical tools to analyze quality data, monitor performance metrics, and identify trends
Driving projects to reduce defects, improve process efficiency, and minimize variation
Evaluating supplier quality control systems to ensure component quality
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Must be eligible to work in the US without Visa Sponsorship
Typically requires a bachelor's degree in engineering and zero (0) to (2) years of related experience
Proficiency in statistical analysis software, CAD, and quality tools (FMEA, SPC, Root Cause Analysis)
Competent use of CAD software and Microsoft Office suite software
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to organize and manage projects in a fast-paced environment
