Responsibilities
This role focuses on the development, qualification, and support of materials and processes used in acrylic aircraft windows and canopies
The M&P Engineer will work closely with Design, Project, Stress, and Manufacturing teams to ensure materials, bonding methods, coatings, and curing processes meet performance, safety, and certification requirements
This includes support of bonded multi-ply acrylic structures, adhesive selection, autoclave curing processes, and specialized coatings such as vapor deposition
The role requires strong technical judgment, hands-on process knowledge, and the ability to troubleshoot material or process issues during development and production
Experience in regulated aerospace environments and close collaboration with manufacturing teams is critical
Transparency or acrylic experience is a strong plus but not required
