Responsibilities
Installs, configures, and maintains network hardware and software
Troubleshoots and resolves routine issues related to network connectivity and performance
Monitors network performance and implements improvements as needed
Collaborates with other IT professionals to implement routine network solutions
Ensures network security by implementing and maintaining firewalls and other security measures
Provides technical support to end-users for network-related issues
Documents network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting procedures
Stays informed about emerging technologies and recommends upgrades or enhancements
Qualification
Required
Minimum of High School or GED level of education
Installs, configures, and maintains network hardware and software
Troubleshoots and resolves routine issues related to network connectivity and performance
Monitors network performance and implements improvements as needed
Collaborates with other IT professionals to implement routine network solutions
Ensures network security by implementing and maintaining firewalls and other security measures
Provides technical support to end-users for network-related issues
Documents network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting procedures
Stays informed about emerging technologies and recommends upgrades or enhancements
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Able to work independently and with others
Strong technical computer programming and trouble-shooting skills
High attention to detail
Demonstrates strong multi-tasking capabilities and organizational skills
Preferred
Associate or Technical degree in Computer Science, Digital Programs, or related field
Advanced proficiency in all MS Office programs
0 to 2 years' experience working as a network technician or related field
Certifications in other data analytics and coding programs such as Python, JavaScript, or C++ is a plus
