Responsibilities
Design and develop scalable, high-performance applications using AWS-native event-driven services, including API Gateway, EventBridge, Step Functions, Lambda, and SQS
Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle, including analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance
Maintain and enhance existing applications, resolving bugs and improving performance and security
Develop RESTful APIs and ensure smooth integration across internal and external services
Collaborate cross-functionally with QA, Product, and DevOps teams in Agile development cycles
Support CI/CD automation efforts and infrastructure-as-code using CloudFormation or AWS SAM
Write clean, maintainable code with strong documentation and testing practices
Mentor junior developers and foster a culture of continuous learning and collaboration
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
3+ years of experience building SaaS or web-based applications
Proven experience with AWS, particularly in event-driven architecture
Proficiency with modern JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and Web Components (e.g., Lit)
Hands-on experience with containerization using Docker
Strong working knowledge of MySQL or other relational databases
Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in cross-functional teams
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
Experience with PHP using frameworks like Laravel or Symfony
Familiarity with AWS SAM, CloudFormation, or Terraform for infrastructure as code
Knowledge of observability tools (e.g., CloudWatch, X-Ray) in an AWS ecosystem
