The Groundskeeper maintains the grounds of the property and works towards satisfactory cash flow, positive resident relations, and optimal resident retention.

Responsibilities

Polices grounds as first task daily and throughout day, as needed

Completes grounds work as needed

Plants, prunes, weeds, seeds or removes foliage, shrubs, trees or grasses or other grounds work

Assist in the preparation of market ready units, including remove trash from vacant apartments (trash outs) prior to make-ready

Assist maintenance team with snow removal (If applicable)

Operates various mechanical or electrical equipment or garden tools

Completes other duties as assigned by supervisor

Qualification

Valid Driver’s LicenseOSHA standardsEnglish proficiencyLift 50 poundsOperate toolsHigh School DiplomaEqual Housing Opportunity knowledgeWeather adaptability

Required

High School Diploma or equivalent

English proficiency – both written and verbal

Knowledge of Equal Housing Opportunity (EHO) requirements and applicable program regulations

Ability to operate a two-axle motor vehicle

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

Ability to operate all necessary tools to perform the essential functions of the position

Experience and working knowledge of OSHA and other environmental safety standards

Ability to perform a variety of duties in all types of weather

Preferred

Valid Driver's License preferred
